At Redwood Science Academy, admissions is not a transaction — it is the beginning of a relationship. We welcome enquiries year-round from families across the globe who share our conviction that education should challenge, inspire and genuinely care for each child.
Our process is designed to be thorough without being daunting: we want to understand your child, and we want you to understand us. We admit pupils into the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, the Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme. Places are considered as they arise at each year-group, and we strongly encourage early enquiry. Our admissions team is available to answer questions at every stage, and we always recommend a campus visit before you begin your formal application.

How to apply
We guide every family through four clear stages, from first contact to the first day of term.
Enquire & Connect
Complete our short online enquiry form or telephone the admissions office directly. A member of our team will respond within one working day, answer your questions and — where timing permits — invite you to an Open Morning or a personalised campus tour. There is no commitment at this stage: we simply want to get to know you and for you to get to know us before a single form is filled in.
Visit & Assessment
We firmly believe you cannot choose a school without seeing it in action. During your visit, your child will spend time in relevant classes, meet their potential teachers and take part in a short, informal academic assessment. There are no right or wrong answers — we are simply getting to know your child's strengths, interests and learning style so that we can offer them the best possible start at Redwood.
Application & References
Submit the formal application form together with your child's most recent school report and two academic references. For Diploma and Career-related Programme applicants, we also ask for a personal statement of around 500 words. Each application is reviewed individually by our admissions panel; we do not use automated scoring or ranking systems of any kind.
Offer & Enrolment
Successful applicants receive a conditional or unconditional offer by letter within ten working days. To secure the place, return the signed acceptance form and enrolment deposit within 14 days of the offer date. Our admissions team will then guide you through every next step — uniform, boarding preferences, curriculum choices, language options and pre-arrival orientation — so that your child arrives on their first day confident and prepared.
Investing in an exceptional education
Investing in your child's education is among the most significant decisions a family makes. Our fee schedule is published annually and covers tuition, core learning materials, access to the full co-curricular programme and membership of all school facilities.
Boarding fees, where applicable, cover full residential provision including meals, houseparent supervision, structured evening study and a comprehensive pastoral support programme. Fees are reviewed each September, and we aim to give families at least six months' notice of any change so that financial planning is never a source of anxiety.
Redwood offers a range of scholarship awards — Academic, Science, Arts, Music and Sport — open to both new and current pupils at MYP Year 3, DP Year 1 and CP Year 1 entry points. Awards are made on the basis of demonstrated excellence and potential, and may cover up to 50 per cent of tuition fees. Means-tested bursaries supplement our scholarship programme, and we are deeply committed to widening access to Redwood. Applications are accepted online throughout the year. Principal intake years are Year 1 (PYP), Year 7 (MYP), Year 11 (DP) and Year 12 (CP), though mid-year entry is possible at all levels subject to availability. If your circumstances do not fit neatly into a standard intake window — whether due to relocation, a change of curriculum or any other reason — please contact us directly.
